Crop Swap this Wednesday, August 28th!!

The Garden's Crop Swap has been very successful, and Jenn will be organizing the our third installment this Wednesday. The first Swap had about 6-7 people stop by, and the second had over 20. We're hoping for more this week!

Arrive at 6:15 trading starts promptly at 6:30

Bring your extra veggies, fruit, seeds, plants, honey, eggs, home canned goods to trade.

Friday Night Dinner in the Garden

Weekday Harvest at the CACG

Sorry for not posting in awhile!

Karen, Brenna and Colin had dinner at the garden tonight with some friends, and came home with a nice haul from harvesting, including green beans, squash, corn and a green pepper.

Here are a few of the many things that are growing at the Center Avenue Community Garden.

Green Peppers

Bob and David planted a variety of items in the Peace, Love, and Understanding Garden Beds this weekend, including carrots, beets, swiss chard, kale, radish, and lettuce.

More squash hanging from the trees.

Corn, beans, squash, pumpkins and sunflowers.

Dino kale, cherry tomatoes, and one, massive zucchini!
