  1. Hi Jim-

I'm a Martinez resident and interested in volunteering in the community garden. Are you accepting volunteers this late in the summer season?
I'd love to come by. When is it open? Jeannie

  2. Hi Jeannie! Thanks for checking out the garden blog.

Volunteers are always welcome, any time of year!

The garden is open all the time, but we generally have workdays on Saturday from around 10am-2pm, and you're welcome to help out as long or as short as you'd like. Volunteers will also stop by whenever it's convenient during the week to harvest, weed, or tidy up.

We are also having a garden bonfire tomorrow night, and we'll be cooking up some S'mores, so feel free to stop by around 7pm. You'd be able to meet some of the other volunteers, and take a quick tour.

    Thanks again,
    Jim
