Harvesting on Fourth of July Weekend

With Auntie Tina in town from San Diego, we spent some time exploring around the CACG.  Some of the summer fruits and vegetables are ready to be harvested, including the grapes near the parking lot entrance.

Sweet-tasting grapes are looking great along the white archway.

There are a few strawberries scattered around a garden bed.

Sunflowers basking in the Fourth of July sunset.

Here's Colin trying a grape.

Brenna, Karen, and Tina harvesting corn.

Here's the corn that Doug planted a few months back.

A perfect example of the corn and beans working together - the corn grows tall, and the bean wraps itself around the corn.

Karen showing off the grapes.
